Upon a day in summer’s glowing reign,
The Earth lay still, in sun’s fervent claim.
Underneath a cerulean, cloudless dome,
It shone as a radiant, marble home.

Beneath the grandeur of the azure above,
The Earth spun tales of a summer’s love.
Wheat fields danced in golden delight,
And sunflowers reached for the warm sunlight.

The rivers sparkled, a brilliant sapphire hue,
Mirroring the boundless skies they flowed into.
The world hummed in a warm, hazy dream,
Lulled by the sun’s relentless gleam.

Yet, soon arrived the gentle summer rain,
A soothing balm for the sun’s fervent claim.
It kissed the earth, with a lover’s grace,
Quenching the thirst of its scorched embrace.

Drops cascaded down from the heavens high,
Like silver tears from the sapphire sky.
They danced upon leaves, upon petals so fair,
Their song was a whisper, in the warm air.

A sonnet of love, from the sky to the earth,
Each drop a testament, each drop a birth,
Of life anew, under the summer’s gaze,
In the grand symphony of sunlit days.

As the rain subsided, a rainbow unfurled,
A bridge of hope in this wide, wide world.
An oath of love from the skies above,
To the resplendent Earth, their beloved.

In the grandeur of a summer day and rain,
There lies a love, both fervent and sane,
A dance of elements, a play of light,
In the arms of the day, and the peace of the night.

So here, under the boundless, brilliant dome,
I pen this ode to our Earthly home,
A love story written in sunlight and rain,
Forever to endure, forever to remain.
