Upon our return from our previous Tropicana adventure, we immediately felt the pull to schedule our next trip, especially when we caught wind of a 5x tier credit multiplier in April. Eager to make the most of it, we planned our trip from Tuesday, April 4, through to Friday, April 7. The South Tower 1-bedroom suite, which we loved from our previous stay, was our room of choice.

Our primary goal for this trip was to accumulate enough tier credits to achieve the coveted Diamond status. With this status, we’d gain room discounts, free valet, priority check-in, and exclusive lounge access. Given the 5x multiplier, we felt confident about reaching our milestone.

Although we encountered a slightly longer line at the check-in than our previous trip, it wasn’t too much of a delay. My wife managed the check-in while I dealt with our luggage and car valet service. Once in our room, we swiftly unpacked and let the relaxation begin.

Day 1 Highlights:
For Dinner: We revisited the Casa Taco & Tequila Bar, savoring a Chicken enchilada, Ground beef empanadas, a Cheese quesadilla, and the delightful table-side guacamole.

Late Night Dessert: A tempting carrot cake from the Marketplace Express Cafe.
Casino Time: Post dinner, we gambled for a few hours. My wife triumphed in video poker, up $20, while I navigated the slots. After a shaky start, I landed a $918 win on FU DAO LE with just 38 cent spins, ending the day on a high note.

Day 2 Culinary Experiences:
Breakfast: Decadent chocolate chip muffins from the Marketplace Express Cafe.
Lunch: A more restrained yet equally satisfying meal at Chickie’s and Pete’s. This time, we savored the Paddy Melt, Club Chicken Sandwich, and their signature fries.

Day 3 Delights:
Morning: Sticking with the winning combo, we had the delicious chocolate chip muffins from Marketplace Express again.

Dinner: At P.F. Chang’s, we indulged in the rich flavors of Kung pao chicken, Oolong Chilean sea bass, Dynamite shrimp, and Crab wonton. We concluded the feast with Chang’s apple crunch for dessert.

Evening Treat: A refreshing ‘Sex On The Beach’ slushie from Wet Willie’s for my wife.

Late Night Snack: A quick visit to the Marketplace Express Cafe led us to a refreshing salad and a delectable cherry danish.

Day 4 Send-off:
Post check-out, we stayed at the casino a few more hours to maximize the 5x tier credit multiplier. As a parting gift to ourselves, we ordered takeout from Carmine’s to enjoy once we reached home.

In summary, our second trip to Tropicana was just as enchanting as the first. With the added incentive of the tier credit multiplier, our journey was both entertaining and rewarding. As we already had some beloved haunts, this trip allowed us to explore and discover new favorites. Soon, we’ll be rejoicing in our Diamond (and possibly Diamond Plus) status, all thanks to our fruitful trips to the Trop.
